I'll let you go.

Now come's the time for the door to close
Strike the statues pose
Wipe your eyes,blow your nose.
Its OK, but you can't stay
We've both got to move on and make our way.
Relax your mind,I'm sure you'll find
Some form of salvation
Some calming sensation
To Warm your soul, pay the toll
to Cross the bridge of bliss
Get that kiss, that marks your wife
Transforms your life
dulls the knife, i left in your back.
stacked though cracked from the lack of use
Because i left it there, caused all despair
used and abused you.
I'm sorry, but i can't let you, let me hurt you more
I'll shut the door
shut you out, cut you out
of my mental picture
Lifestyle Fixture.
I'll let you go, my first gift to you.
I wish i knew, How untrue this would be
and you still can't see,we
were never meant to be..

Thank you for your entry in the final of the series. An interesting poem with some good internal rhyme and a pleasure to read.

All the best and please join us in any future contests we run for rhyming poetry.

Another write by you with fantastic rhythm. I really like this one. I think you hit the prompt very well.

Excellent metaphor and imagery, as well. Have some clappy dudes!
