She lies beneath an ailing dawn
eyes staring sightlessly upon
the lesions in her brain.
Their words seep into thoughts
maligned by madness, marred
by the effort of living.
She crumbles beneath
cold tears of dying stars,
her slumberous soul seeks nothing.
But should the sun heal
these scars within her mind
would her will return?
Softly, sighs climb from her heart,
to view the sickening sky
for her blinded vision.
Lulled by the glory seekers,
their futile songs call forth.
In the aching twilight,
she lingers, only a breath,
a single pulse, between today
and nothingness. Oh, the sheer
effort of rising from this mire,
Why? when there is nothing
save for a drifting sense of
apathy.

Very sad write
In the lost and lonelyu shadows of the young peoples minds the nstant the drugs take over and all their friends do fly alone they sit and ponder of the cruelty about them there yet never once did they see their guardean angel for it was always aware . If you find yourself in a daze of destruction and pain tell what hands got you there and decided to waste away. What hands do you think will save you to bring the world back around .You bet your hands and no time is better than now step out of the shadows and take your loved ones hands and if you have none then message me again for I am here everyday and will guide you through for to live honey is all in what you decide to do

Oh I could feel this like no other as you described the topic given to you. I loved it!
"But should the sun heal
these scars within her mind
would her will return?
Softly, sighs climb from her heart,
to view the sickening sky
for her blinded vision."
This is where the true spiritless-ness comes to play, I think.
Great job on this. Your descriptions are beautiful. Thanks so much for entering
