Painted with minds obscure transitions
in artist brush-strokes of addiction
time melts from his canvas heated spoon
over the edge of his tic toc tune.
Golden drops of his shattered sweat
wind bent hours inner springs to set,
before flowing into pocket watch case
where reality is lost in surrealistic face.
Salvador Dali's perpetual affliction
can be noted in all his painted renditions.
Every painting has part of another within,
his timeless painting metaphor to heroin.
His imaginations edge he is cornered by
with his easel confinements painted sigh;
horizons of tomorrows or yesterdays gone
his time melded art, boundaries beyond.
