Face the Warrior

Missing image
Dedicated to all Warriors of Life!

Hotem totem round the pole,
This is the spirit of a warrior role,
A Native American Indian Warrior man,
Painted face and war game plan...

War paint war cry he has no fear,
He leads his tribesmen far and near,
Hear the echoes of the past and future,
Apache magic a karmic suture.

Author notes

Another blonde day.. wrote the version below then
re-red the contest page to see it was a limit of
60 words (duh scratch head!), so here are two versions
the above shorter version is 53 words not including the
title or dedication line).

Dedicated to all warriors of Life!

Hotem totem round the pole,
This is the spirit of a warrior role,
A Native American Indian Warrior man,
Painted face and war game plan...

War paint war cry he has no fear,
He leads his tribesmen far and near,
Hear the echoes of the past and future,
Apache magic a karmic suture.

Hand sewn beaded battle dress,
They are mighty hard to suppress,
Brave their souls and driven on,
Their powerful essence goes anon..

Into the void of eternal recall,
The Native American does enthrall,
Magic and fascination that never dies,
Their souls ascended to distant skies.

Nice job.....I was a tad disappointed that you placed the other pics along with this great piece of Art by my Friend, Jerry Frost, as it was your Prompt ~

Try to avoid all of those Filler Words and stay focused on your Theme.....be direct and forceful......

    .....nice job though ~

    God bless,

    Bear ~

Great border and interesting take on the prompt. Great description and some nice metaphors. I like "karmic suture", what it implies as well as the sound.
