Night of Horror

Cathedral hallways
dark and clammy
amongst the night
we stay
shivers and howls
plague our senses
over visions
of ghostly ways

Above the full-moon
swirls as milk
spirits and demons
of horrendous faces
masked in black
garments taunt
we run
we hide
their coming
for us soon

I await
as the door knob
starts to slowly turn
my mind
can't comprehend
the fear eminence
I SCREAM
and search for a cross
my heart is pounding
door slowly
O so slowly opens
I feel as Santan's bait

A foot enters
its tethered and torn
nails jagged and long
my tears of fear
drench me
as my spine tightens
their is no hope
his hand flings
open the ridged door
I clamor and nestle
cold icy feel
surrounded him
he now is in the center

I elevated to a stand
against the bland wall
his hand
his hand
touched me
it was death
and he wanted me
that way too,
he flung me
to the other wall
all breath was
gone inside
I gasped
yet he choked me
and ripped out a gland

I fell to the floor
pain is all I
could feel
the fear left me
as he neared again
drawers began
to whirl the room
a cross dropped
before me
I raised it
as he sizzled
and crunched
running for the door
