Seconds,
Sunlight started my day,
seeping through my windows,
hurried to the bathroom door,
took a shower and brushes teeth.
Minutes,
the fragrant air,
rested on my senses,
gone to the open crowd,
walking far ahead.
Hours,
greeting people, smiling,
lighten up my burden,
pasted my eyes on the papers,
passive on what's going on.
Day ended,
exhausted, excruciated,
the day is productive but why is it empty?
have I forgotten something or somebody?
In a second I looked up in the setting sun,
felt the stronger scent of air,
nods on the people saying their hellos,
God, did I become to far away?
Author notes
Read James 4:8, this verse helped me to be inspired more, and of course, on the quote prompt...
