So many ways I love
my heart and soul belong to you,
every moment I breathe your essence
yet to you I can't get through.
Trust me love, just take my hand
walk with me into future bliss,
don't turn you're back, be not afraid
my promise that a world for us exists.
My world crumbles as you walk away
this life now left in fragments,
a barren desert is my heart
as I hum soul's solitary lament.
Author notes
Prompt:
Heaven knows the words
that pour from my mouth
words that touch your soul
don't know no north or south
Invisible now I cry
in the perfect summer rain
lost in my reflection
with a heart so full of pain

Great images as the lover offers a commitment so strong to breath an essence. Giving bliss, yet, to turn a back on the narrator. A world of love crumbles in fragments leaves soul's lament. So powerful and true to life. The flow is smooth and rhythm moves slowly to give the reader time to gather in emotions wrapped in the images. To move from happy to sad in a world of love not shared.
