Precious little baby
come here and sit beside me
let’s make a list of the things
we want to do today
look at all these books
Grandma will read to you
we can take a walk down
to the wood pile and
try to catch a lizard
I have a pretty tea set
we can have a tea party lunch
with tiny little sandwiches
why yes you can bring your teddy
we can lay under the Maple tree
and watch the clouds float by
tell me what funny shapes you see
fall asleep in the warm sunshine
when we wake up from our nap
we can take out some paper
I’ll show you how to print your name
You can color the afternoon away
Oops I dropped the marker
Well that’s enough for us to do today
I love you little darling

What a beautiful tribute to a little one. I adore the last line 'little darling' is what my nana used to call me.
