Care of the hell you dumped me in
I've been watching for signs from heaven
Tracing the marks upon my skin
And the outline in the mirror
Is the silhouette of all my transgressions
And I'd really like to get to know you
And those places beneath your shadow smile
Does the holy spirit move you
To commit more of those sins?
Once you loved me as a loser, is that how all affairs begin?
I was disciplined by your presence
While all my prayers were simply ignored
And I knelt on broken glass just to bleed for you
Now I thank you for your foresight
And the items that you sent
Wrapped up in your conscious endeavours
And your guidence and providence
I used to live for my music
That I played from dusk 'til dawn
Now I'm old and severly wounded
By the thought of losing it all
