She Showed Me Love

She showed me a love that I felt none of
for quite some time.
Had my mind been in the right place,
there would be no way I would not take her hand.
Words won't really do her any justice.
I gave her hell,
all she gave me was more of herself.
I never fell in love with her until
i fell in love with the idea that I really didn't know
what love was until she showed me,
boldly by being there when I wasn't.
