Perhaps it would be a week day,
an uncertain time,
certainly the dawn,
perhaps it would be a folly,
a tremendous hug
in one corner, another,
creating a link
carrying out fate,
seeing images, hues,
petal by petal opening without pain,
places, times, countries,
may be a secret kissing flower,
might be a climate, the city, the avenue,
unexplained, impossible,
fast vehicles of races
inconsequent, unbeatable.
Perhaps they were mortal sins,
vows, calls in the dark,
society of equals,
drinking the present, drawing a future,
greenery, children playing;
with luck in asphalt,
or may be earth tones, changes,
leaves mature in the turf, seen from above.
