yet nothing can compare,
to that touch, that look, that whisper,
that makes my soul aware.
Aware of bonds we've tightly forged
as two hearts hum love's sweet song,
each night as we discover one another again
in celebration beneath hands resonating strong.
To be lost of my reflection
my spirit would roam forever,
searching for completion
my one and only true endeavour.
Author notes
Here is the verse: Bob Dylan Song
There's beauty in that silver singing river
There's beauty in that rainbow in the sky
But none of these, and nothing else can match the beauty
That I remember in my own true loves eyes
Yes and only if my own true love was waiting
If I could hear her heart a softly pounding
Yes and only if she was lying by me
The I'd lie in my bed, once again
