No more wishing.

i want you to stop and think
about all that you dream

if you wish upon a star?
it doesn't do much good...

i am tired of trying to live a dream
and wishing a wish that will never be.

its time to face the facts
that to dream is fine but nothing will happen

if you wish on a star, you can wish with all your heart
but it wont go very far

i am tired of wishing,
tired of dreaming
and i know ill never live the way i want it to be.

Please tell me what you think

Don't give up on your dreams. Dreams are what keeps hope alive, Dreams are mere thoughts that once conceived can be realized. And yes sometimes it’s all up to you. You've got to get up and go after what you want, be the catalyst that makes your dreams come true. There’s a country song about Unanswered Prayers sometimes the best thing that could happen to you is that you didn’t get what you dreamed about though you might not realize this until later down the road. So please don’t give up on your dreams because sometimes they really do come true.
    God Bless, Jo-Ann

We all have times like this...

when we think that our dreams will never come true or be actualized. I can say this from experience, that if we persevere; dreams do come true. Some of it is faith; and a lot of it is hard work.

This isn't to say that sometimes we need to stand back and take a long look at the cold, hard facts. Evaluating ourselves and our lives is a good thing. Sometimes things need to be reassessed and some modifications made in the direction we are going.

Don't give up. We all feel discouraged at times. There were a few periods in my life where just before I reached my goal I wanted to give up, because it was getting harder. A few times I did give up. The times that I persevered, I am grateful for, because it really paid of in many ways in the long run.

    blessings,

    karen

Oh, man, I so hear your sadness and frustration. There are some things in life we need to just accept and some we can actually do something about. Sometimes it is hard to know the difference.

Don't give up, hon. Sometimes that miracle is just around the corner. What really helps me is to run to my Creator...to Yahweh God (of the bible). He helps me to understand what is real in this life and what is not. He brings me comfot for those things that are unchangeable and hope for the future.

sending you safe love and gentle hugs,
    Abigail

I asked a man with no legs...how he smiles and keeps his
    energy so bright each day,
and his words still sting and inspire my heart
even when I am facing the darkest of days.....

he said to me " I no longer depend upon my flesh,
for it is always weary and complaining...
my courage comes from showing others my strong
capabilities....that..my friend is legs you can
walk upon firmly, even if you are without like me."

WE all learn very achingly sometimes that
rising above ALL Circumstance is tough work indeed.
Whatever sorrow your flesh feels, i promise you,
the heart is stronger....otherwise, many of us,
    would not be here.

    much love,
    ears/Seattle
