Insulting social convention

But I doubt you’ll be forgiven
The scandal you’ve now made.
You've sailed close to the wind before,
You've cut it mighty fine.

As a multi-media star.
They’ve loved your every outrage,
Whoever you’ve cursed or kissed,
But they’ll not love your latest words:
“When I was an atheist …”

Great Write
Hello, I can relate to this with the presidential election going on here, some journalists out right lie and nothing is said by the main stream liberal press. Thet have their own agenda. Thank you for sharing this. A pleasure to read.
Take care,
Sandy

I like the witty way you set these words out. Who's the media icon?
I hope you're havin' a fabulous day.

so well representative of the times. one could not be forgiven for such a statement these days, no matter how well-loved...since it betrays both the possible groups that subsume 'people'...lol. great thought. congrats and best regards!
