I'm drowning in a sea
Of my quiet voice,
Can you hear my plea?
Couldn't you see the choice,
That I made for you?
But you followed him,
Apology quite overdue,
I'm filled to the rim,
With my boiling anger,
Towards this deceiver.
Here lies the danger,
I'm the receiver,
Of all the horrid fake.
It's burned in my mind,
I don't think I could take,
Another day of your kind,
Unknowing smiles to me.
They just pierce my heart,
Because you can't even see,
The paths on the chart,
I've taken through times.
Can you see me now?
Hear the clock's chimes?
Will you tell me how?
I'm drowning.

This is really good. I love the line: Can you see me now. I've asked that in many a poem. There are many things to drown in.
