Dedicated to those who stand out from the crowd!
Like a Lotus centre stage,
Or a pearl amongst the pebbles in a cage,
Surrounded by bauble type entities,
Crowned in glory and enthroned if you please..
Chequered reflective the baubles positioned on-look,
A spiked centrepiece catching the light come and look,
Like a secret conference of entities from another world,
Into an irregular arrangement they have been hurled!
Spiked and centred down in a basin-like dip,
What might this spiked ball go and nip,
Mesmeric of those who stand to spy,
What is in abstract before their eye!
This is a plastic man made plastic copy,
Of a flower with petals and centre so spiky,
Reflecting in light through glass paned windows,
Onto to the shiny surface of the baubled reflective rows...
In check-mate the spiked Lotus-like ball,
Mono-sepia in the round in a well lit hall,
Reflective like mirrors with their surface plastic,
How wonderfully mind twistingly abstract and fantastic!
Surrealist abstract modern art by design,
Could this be a strange omen or perhaps a sign,
Mirroring what is from another planet,
Something which you might call simply an it!
