Our Garden

Life's meadows,
where we find the growth of weeds,
as well as beautiful flower's.

In manicured gardens,
where grows flower’s of every kind,
We also see the gardener.

Weeding that which he does not want,
does not the weed discard oxygen,
the same as the rose.

Does not the weed carry its green
the same as the violet,
why is that.

Please tell me what you think

a very thought provoking write, the definition of a weed i believe is any unwanted plant, i prefere the wild looking garden to a military formation, and yet we all have our preferences,
this poem also has a dark sid eto it where we are the flowers (and the weeds) and the reaper is the gardener, picking and discarding that which he does not wish to leave in the garden of life.

Interesting poem on gardening. I love to garden and grow my flowers and have a veggie garden as well. Never thought of some of these things in this fashion! ~Sie

    Joe,

WOW!! This is amazing! We all have things to offer. Like the things we find in a flower, or garden, without that of another, we can not grow, and such. What a great job on this one! This ties in with what I am talking about with another right now.

    Amazing!!

    and love my friend

Joe this is awesome. You raise some good questions. As I read this I read it as the flowers representing people and the way we treat each other. The message is clear that we all have something to contribute.
