Waiting

Here I am, lying
Waiting for death to come take me
While I'm waiting,
My mind goes over all my memories
Trying to see what went
But I know . . .

I was so innocent
Walking down the street
A man in a van drove by
He asked if I wanted a ride
I declined and he pulled me in
And locked the door

He drove me and 16 other girls
to a place I don't remember
But what I do is that
I was scared and alone

He hurt us,
One by one
Ignoring our cries and pleas
for mercy
Soon, we were all
experienced with something
meant for later in life

Here I am, lying
Waiting for death to come
While I'm waiting
My mind goes over all my memories
Trying to see what went wrong
But I know . . .
And now, he's come.

Goodbye.
