Some people would say
That the best part in life
Is friends or family.
I choose differently.
Though there are millions of seconds,
I can only think of a few amazing ones.
Some are of performances from piano or band.
But the most important one has yet to come.
I don't know what it will be like
Or who will be there.
I have on idea what it will feel like,
But I know it will be special.
So far in life,
My favorite second
Was the feeling of love.
I've only felt it once.
That first second was crazy.
I felt joy, happiness, and so much more.
I can't explain it
But it was wonderful.
I cried tears of joy
And just wanted to kiss this guy.
But I couldn't even hold his hand.
We were too shy to even talk.
That note said:
"I love you more than anything else in the world."
My heart almost exploded
And my smile almost tore my face in half.
I really can't explain this feeling.
But love is amazing.
That one second was perfect
And I wish I could feel it again like that.
Author notes
Well, this is interesting. It's for Daniel again, but seriously, this was the perfect moment and I will never forget it. I hope you like it

Simple, making it intensely ideal.
I really totally digged this piece. It was powerful enough to show me what you truly felt, and that's what poetry is all about.
"And my smile almost tore my face in half"
Must of been my favourite line... Excellent piece... Next time check for grammar and spelling errors though

If that is what your perfect moment in life, more power to you. A second is interpreted by many in different ways. It's always good to hear what others interpret.
