Life is like...an ocean of the sweetest wine flowing endlessly, and we have only the tiniest cup from which we sip, never thinking to submerge ourselves within the depths of it's intoxicating vintage.
Life is like...the open expanse of the everpresent sky. And we choose to perch upon one high rock and say, 'yes, it is beautiful to observe', but never soar into that endless blue and breathe in the air of the sublime heights.
Life is like...the beaming energies of the Sun-exploding and reaching out with tongues of fire to taste the universe. And we, we sit on our hands and say,'it is too hot, too much', and never taste the sweetness of unknown experiences, fearing the ecstasy of that purest flame.
Our lives are for us to LIVE beyond this fabric of skin. Have you not seen your own skin stretch and grow to accomodate the 'you' beneath it? Grow to whatever capacity is necessary. Taste, reach, soar, touch...LIVE the unknown, and truly BE in the Presence of Divine Light!

I'm ready to dive in, fly, and get a tan now! This is very inspiring and motivating...and so true. Many of us, myself included at times, are content to trundle through our lives like mindless zombies...never truly realizing what we're missing, what we're capable of. I love the metaphors you use, wine, sky, and the sun...they are a very apt description of life and all it's possiblities.
