Deep within the Wildwoods of the muse,
Shines the light of inspirational platitudes.
Artistry wings take to lucid paged flight,
Inspired by the word Fay of delight.
Engrained deeply within poetic bark,
Flames ignite giving word smith spark.
Growth collected in the roots of man,
Sprout in essence in this bramble land.
Truly enchanted are these entwining twigs,
Of a poet's candle light shining deep within.

What a great response to the prompt. Very lovely. Written with a personal love. You must have also had the experience of the woods within
Was this a specific poetic form? It read
nearly like a sonnet. Some lines were
different from the others... so wondering.
A worthy win! Congratulations.
