Summer winds one last time sway
Ocean breeze dances on the waves
Afar ships sail back home safe
Evening skies sprinkles the warmth
Bay paints the childhood memories
Daddy’s little princess once tip-toes on his feet
Now stands on the wet wooden deck
Besides the shores of laughing memoirs
A little girl once created sand castles
Now dreams of adolescent life
One last summer pocket full of sunshine
She locks the moments in her tender heart
As mind tenders to the future of a lady
While time still plays the game of innocence
Golden hair of her unveils mystery
As winds strokes her supple skin
Holding on tight to now
She lets her spirit fly freely
As her eyes capture Kodak moments
Of one last summer on the beach

One just sighs as one reads this beauty of a write. You have such skill with imagery, as you bring the past back and forth into the present with your choice words throughout each line."as her eyes catch Kodak moments of her last summer on the beach" Keep writing like this poet!
