Wires

I had the lights to go
out in time -
a chance meeting
leaves me wondering.
similar spaces can bring in
the cold, and we shiver
under unfeeling stars.
don't let the sun set or
we will be lost for
the good of mankind -
an eclipse of self-sacrifice.
challenge yourself
to know the tight
spaces where we drink
away the past and
finally remember who
we are meant to be.

change is in the wind.

I had minor surgery last week, so it's been hard to write. This is stream of semi-consciousness.
