Little Timmy love the idea of fighting crime
catching the bad guys to serve time.
Ready to shoot them dead with his cap gun
ending their law breaking his idea of fun.
He heard the butcher got robbed while he was at play
they stole the sausages that eating always made his day.
So he decided was time for him and Fido to solve the case
no way he was going to let them steal that favorite taste.
Tracking down the meanies meant using a disguise
one that would be clever, believable and so wise.
So he dressed his pooch to pretend to be a robber
and lure out the bad guys who he would thus clobber.
Figured sending his masked dog into another butcher store
with a note demanding sausages galore,
was the perfect idea to make them evil dudes come looking for more,
watching for them while pet pushed his way through the shop door.
Store owner read the note and ended up calling the cops
taking off the bag and slapping a muzzle on doggie's chops.
Wasn't quite what Timmy expected from his plot's treat
thought at least he would get a reward of sausages to eat.
Police following Fido's tag back to his address on the street,
pet released to parents, boy grounded from walking alone on concrete.
