I think I still love him...
How can I know for sure?
I think about him often;
I think of us being together,
how happy we were that way...
Will we, can we get back together?
But he has as many issues as I,
more issues than a magazine.
He's accepted me for who I am;
have I done that for him?
I still have reservations...
About his family, his ability
to provide for a family...
I can't even get a job right now.
The time's not right to decide;
but perhaps, as the sign was given,
in three years from now I'll know:
If we're really meant to be together;
if he's truly the one or if I just
deeply care about him, my friend,
my confidante that he is.
God knows I've forgiven him -
his lies, his ignorance...the pain.
I just don't know...not yet,
for sure; so much is happening
and not happening all the same,
all right now...
All I can do...is wait.

I love this line, "so much is happening
and not happening all the same." Good luck in the contest :-).
P.S.

Wow
This captured alot of what I wanted to feel and see ^^ -
Oh, this is beautiful and confusing. This seemed like a poem that you'd write, and then realize later that you were sorting out things in your head whilst writing it. Or maybe I'm just imagining things. Either way it was well-written, and it flowed quite well.

Very well written
The heart is a confusing thing...
Its better to love than to lose what you have

this is well written. And to question some relationships are not always a bad thing. Good write.

It is better to have loved than never love at all my dear. In time you will know what is instore for you. Don't rush, be patience, have faith.
