"Have faith and Dream", a dreamer spoke
once to the night. As he gathered forth
his restless hopes and slowly breathed it life.
Now it wavered forth from his heart
as he spoke to the slate, "A man alone
is not a man, and I have loved you always;”
And so he touched it with his hands; wrote
with love his hopes again ~ in ashen stone~,
this man alone, the emblem of a woman.
He peered upon the tender heart, pressed
between the arcs of hair like gentle streams
flowing forth to an eternity “With you”;
Now lost among her quiet glance, molded he
for her, her weightless hands, cast forth and
forward to the world before, lost
in her palms now evermore .
And he cradles her with a final glimpse,
the lasting truth now evinced through
her buckled legs which proclaim his heart;
a love not meant to be, but marked
by a hope to “Have faith and Dream.”
Author notes
It is an exaltation of man, a hopes that he can achieve something higher.
Entrusted to me by "The Fountainhead"
Displayed in flesh through "Faith of the Fallen."
It is for Love, that I still breathe.
