He strengthens me in my weakness,
lifts me when I’m down
Shows me what I need through my illness,
reminds me He’ll give me a crown
When I feel oppressed with my trials,
He tells me endure for awhile
I think many times of His suffering,
at the hands of those He longed to give healing
If the King of creation could come here,
Serve mankind as He did
I can walk as His disciple,
Be brave in the manner I live
He gave me example,
In His strength I choose to believe
I can do all things through The Christ,
He lives in me!

Author notes
Philippians 4:12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
1 Cor 4:11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
12 And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:
13 Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.
2 Cor 6:10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
2 Cor 11: 27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
I can do all things in The Christ Who strengthens me! HalleluYah!
