Trapped in a love one sided,
lied to and so misguided.
From love's grip please set me free,
break this hold he has on me.
Someone come and take my hand,
please help me to understand.
Why love a man who does not care,
when you need him, he's not there.
Now a prisoner of love's demise,
stranded here with tear stained eyes.
I need strength to shed some light,
to rid me of this darkest night.

WOW! love it
I hardly know what to say, guess this one hits so close to home. I lived there for years. I just had to one day break down and pray and ask for release. I am thankful that God granted my prayer. I am no longer trapped, and I still love him but now as a friend, not the was that was keeping me down.

Almost everyone has a love that has gone away for shelfish reasons. I have had that happen also, I just try to stay myself and keep my love alive not only for them but for all as love is what makes a person real, true and honest.
