so were all addicted to drugs now.
and its all we breathe,
and smell,
and touch
and taste.
and our veins are scarring up,
our noses getting bloody,
and our throats catch fire.
were all withering here.
the world is only shrugging.
and its not long before we rot away.
were sluggish and sweaty.
were lonely inside our addictions.
and no one cares about us anymore.
we're lost. hopeless. alone.
what more is there to say?
Our generation is fading.
no one cares to notice.
but we're having fun, so its ok with us.
we have enough narcotics in our system to last for now.
But what happens when the money runs out?

I like it, I like it a lot! Quite hard-hitting and very revealing... a community full of fun-loving people and pleasure-seekers, opened up to unveil the double life that they themselves cannot see... how beneath all the fun and kicks, really we're wasting away. And there's a good little twist at the end that gives your mind a little jolt.
Because you're right... what's to become of us when the money does run out? And is it worth it, just to end up going down the drain/getting sucked back into that vicious circle?
Well done, a very articulate write from a startling perspective.

Sad write here
In the knowledge of the children and given the reigns to live their way tell me what is there to be proud of today when in given the reigns they are o0n self destruct .For those who truly cares were pushed away sweared out told you wished they would die and in turn what is there to be proud of and truly who is to be blamed .I say both for if you love someone I dont care what the law says I would have corrected the [problem and then took the punishment myself to see my child free from drugs and pain

I really like this piece. It's well written and the emotions really come out at you. I like the descriptions and the last line is a great ending. Thanks for entering.
