    We lost so many great ones in that era.... What is always amazing to me is that young people keep going back to them; they have spoken to three generations now.
    This is a sweet tribute, thoughtfully written. Nicely done!

    Janis Joplin sure did leave her mark in the music world ,
    heck , She was who she was and never had to pretend to be
    anyone , other than herself. I admired her for that.
