Despite imperfections of this body,
my shell is an earthen clay jar
that's fragile, flawed and easily broken,
letting the Light of Christ shine.
Though not pretty on the outside,
I won't be mistaken
for a white-washed tomb -
God can use my weakness
to display His greatness.
I've chosen to be submitted
to His Will and Plan for my life.
In spite of exterior chips, dings and nicks,
Christ looks inwardly at my heart.

What a powerful statement: "I won't be mistaken/for a white-washed tomb"! This just exploded upon me! May we take our stand and scream this with our lives. Amen, brother!!!!!

Its early morning here,
and I appreciate the words contained within this poem. Another truth, but always a truth, and one to be confronted with every now and then. Today I shall remember to look inward so as to make it possible for me to receive award. Be blessed, and thank you for your entry. Frans

A big Amen! God does look inward and Jesus blood washed us clean. A great piece with Biblical truth! A message that we should all submit to Him and wait for His plan.
