Disregard All

Did you ever realize that I am standing above you,
Below you, and in the whispers of the wind?
I am the cause of the deadly array of storms, fires,
And the increasing escalation of violence with youth.

The power that I have created, taken for my own,
Live in the icy veins of my deathly soul.
Dark clouds of total destruction makes it way
Towards the civilization of misconception.

The false protectiveness of the Gods of love,
Will never match the power of greed, sex, alcohol.
The children that you have unknowingly neglected,
Have now become the servants in the army of rock.

Cascading advantage of purple roses of loss,
Have now turned their heads towards the rose of black.
Giving the chance to all that listen to my message,
Join the revolt, live life to the fullest, disregard all.

Wow. This really reminded me of what Christians imagine satan to be. Your imagery never fails to knock my socks off .

This is some powerful stuff. You really used great, graphic illustration to get the point across. It almost savages the imagination.

What a wonderful poem, I like the truth that this tells in every line, something we should all stand up and take heed of. Best to you

Incredible; perhaps my favorite line: "The false protectiveness of the Gods of love Will never match the power of greed, sex, alcohol." This poem is very relative I also like the reoccurring reference of cities and civilization in general.
