one torch hidden in the mind's shadows,
stumbled over during an experience
as a sensory synchronism between heart and brain,
pain, the repellent of skepticism,
suddenly infused with dream state dialogue,
beckoning to a sacrifice of self consumption,
the inexplicable and inexorable
entwining the cords of thought,
until the soul that slept beneath one's path
followed in obsession for pleasure,
speaks its voice in the head,
sound presumed eternal,
but so unfamiliar.
Beginning the slow traces of missing pieces
in the puzzle of life,
finding the one's buried within
to give the picture true meaning,
all the process of discovery
from that accident of fate,
which inspired a reach into the deepest inner hollows
for something more that one's own strength.
Giving what is discovered deity,
rest of one's journey
spent figuring out
if the god manifested
was illusion or truth.

it's a strange feeling to find just what you're looking for in someone elses mind. I'm glad you took the prompt less literal than others will, and decided to research Jungs philosophy, it definately showed in your piece, which was extrodanairly enthralling, indeed it had that akkure of a dream, and a heavy message to boot

Very interesting. At first I was thinking this was about a dream. But once I read about the quotes it made even more sense to me. Thanks for sharing

Excellent imagery, as usual
This was such a wonderful "picture"
