We could spit rainbows.
I wanted to feel that feeling just once.
I wanted to think I was fulfilling something.
But I was never a believer.
Just a girl with a funny habit
of trying to kiss the sun.
(Oh, how it burned!)
How beautiful it was...
Let's split hairs
on matters long expired.
I dressed in wires and you tried to find a fuse
but it never was there.
Not for you.
I was never a lover (until now).
Maybe I was a liar.
Maybe you just didn't know what she knows.
(Oh, how it burns!)
How beautiful we are...
My baby knows how to start a fire.
Author notes
I don't know what to say about this one. I think the meaning and whatever is pretty clear...
I think it's finished and all that.

"We could spit rainbows" I don't know I'm a little confused one that starting the poem I'm a lil o.O. But everything else is really good and I agree about this being finished.

Yeah... I guess that bit is weird and confusing. That actually came from this really strange way I used to talk with some people... It meant something else that I don't particularly feel like stating on the internet... :\
I might take it out later, I'm not sure yet if it needs to be there.
Thanks for your crit.

I understand. Hey if you wrote it originally I think you should keep it.
No problem. -
