Once, long ago, where there was no life
The darkness held the lands; just shadows…
Just wind.
And when there was nothing,
So very long ago,
From the skies fell life;
How beautiful, how bright!
The rains scoured the earth,
The light chased shadows,
And the wind, once dead, brought something new.
Once, long ago, where there was much life
The light spread across every hill; alive…
With the wind.
And when there were many,
So very long ago,
From the skies came love;
So warm and so light.
And this love wrapped the earth,
Took away the pain,
And the wind, once lonely, spread love all around.
And once, not so very long ago, in a place where there was life and love,
There came a stranger to this place; to speak…
With the wind.
And they talked and talked for hours on end,
‘Till they were both alive; of love and life.
And when there was nothing more,
Not the life or the love,
The wind cried softly…
“Life without love
But a shell am I.
I shall whisper my memories…”
In the land with no life… and no love.

beautiful!
Something about this touches me and I won't go farther than that. It connects!

Na Son
as usual you speak of much that is deep, coming fom the innermost parts of yourself. As one who understands most times, you still garner my attention at times, with your offerings.
I found this one to be one that required quiet reflection, and a close pondering thereof to find the message.
I do appreciate your sharing your words with the remainder of us.

This really gets your brain going with images of the earth and the beginnings and the changes. Very well done and I like it very much. Good luck with this.
