The strawberry's sunny face turns red,
the sweet pea is perfumed
and the honey suckle sweetened,
as the circle moves towards the end
and the end becomes a beginning.
A flower, nipped in the bud
dies slowly, coloring the room,
bringing joy to a dancing girl and boy
as it catches their youth in a hue,
that sparkles our eyes with surprise.
Then the sun shines for another rising,
horizons open with closures...
In this fantasy of time,
a young girl strips the petals
from the daisy of her youth,
as one by one,
she drops her innocence.
A rose blooms and jasmine
leaks perfume into a summer night,
the fragrance quickens a boy's desire
and inflames his youthful exuberance.
A flower lays tangled and confused
in the garden of years,
pressed against the pages of time,
one day it will seed a blessed memory.
In spring new flowers will color the hill
and from a mound of plain brown earth,
life will again take root,
because in truth...
Circles continue to groove
in the garden,
as they also do, in me and in you.
the sweet pea is perfumed
and the honey suckle sweetened,
as the circle moves towards the end
and the end becomes a beginning.
A flower, nipped in the bud
dies slowly, coloring the room,
bringing joy to a dancing girl and boy
as it catches their youth in a hue,
that sparkles our eyes with surprise.
Then the sun shines for another rising,
horizons open with closures...
In this fantasy of time,

as one by one,

A rose blooms and jasmine

the fragrance quickens a boy's desire

A flower lays tangled and confused
in the garden of years,
pressed against the pages of time,

In spring new flowers will color the hill

life will again take root,
because in truth...
Circles continue to groove
in the garden,
as they also do, in me and in you.

I love the circle of the sea,
wave to wrap the sand in wet,
grain to swim in shape, set free,
these wandering of truth, we can't forget.
thanks so much...

Excellent poetry here! So perfect for the theme of the contest...
Sigh...I love this! Every line was so beautifully written...

A rose blooms and jasmine
leaks perfume into a summer night,
the fragrance quickens a boy's desire
and inflames his youthful exuberance.
This is lovely imagery, as is the rest of the poem. Very seductive and alluring. Great luck to you in this contest! -
Oh, this is a real gorgeuous piece.
A flower smelt ever so sweetly in a
garden amongst blooming roses,
you are an orchid or a honeysuckles
for the roses wilt to time.
Beautiful!
