As I was gazing out my window
I saw the white clouds etch the sky
Stirring up some pancake batter
To cook in the by and by
I watched the sunrise on the horizon
As it dipped down to meet the River
Without making a sound I tiptoed
Outside, the wind gave me a shiver
I sat underneath a Willow tree
Which overlooked the knoll
I bowed my head to say grace
It was just me, not another soul
Well, I better get the pancakes made
For the brood will soon arise
I so enjoy watching them eat
Food disappears right before my eyes
I saw the white clouds etch the sky
Stirring up some pancake batter
To cook in the by and by
I watched the sunrise on the horizon
As it dipped down to meet the River
Without making a sound I tiptoed
Outside, the wind gave me a shiver
I sat underneath a Willow tree
Which overlooked the knoll
I bowed my head to say grace
It was just me, not another soul
Well, I better get the pancakes made
For the brood will soon arise
I so enjoy watching them eat
Food disappears right before my eyes

I really like the flowing rhyme in this poem. It's got a light mood with great imagery.
"I watched the sunrise on the horizon
As it dipped down to meet the River"--I love the way this is phased.
Good job and thanks for entering my contest!
