Skulls rattle chillingly on rotting posts
Chattering eerily when no wind blows
And the stars are weird, uncanny green glows
On an All Hallows Eve of ghouls and ghosts.
In a haunted house of skeleton hosts
The foul stench of death and of decompose
From cadavers and carcasses arose
On an All Hallows Eve of ghouls and ghosts.
The echoes of threats and of foolish boasts
And sighs of dead bodies that aren't in repose
Over the graveyard swells hugely and grows
On an All Hallows Eve of ghouls and ghosts.
Listen-- a scream, thrown wide over the coasts
Where the breakneck stream ne'er ebbs nor flows
And the hollow souls cry in wild death throes
On an All Hallows Eve of ghouls and ghosts.

Actually, this was a little scary. It's strength is the style and discipline that you kept throughout it. To be honest, I'm impressed!
