i am going to ignore you
if you don't mind .
i don't want you in my life ;
don't care if it's unkind .

don't act like you don't know the truth
i don't care if you lie
just as long as you know
all the reasons why

you had to go and break my heart
at least that's what you thought
but you never knew
i only value what i've got .

so go ahead and run away ,
i will never save your place ;
but in the end , when you only
need a familiar face ,

don't count on me ,
to help you through the good times and the bad
all I am is just another FRIEND
you'll never have .
