One final touch, a kiss goodbye,
another tear, another why?
A day for hearts to break in two,
to say farewell is hard to do.
Bring forth life, birthing pains,
only overwhelming joy remains.
Hold them close to our hearts,
lifetime of happiness starts.
Years of nurture,ups and downs,
skinned knees, smiles and frowns.
Never imagined you not here,
till that fateful day last year.
A day ingrained in heart and mind,
sudden death is so unkind.
So many reminders day after day,
ever since God took you away.
Hold onto faith as I still ask why,
so soon we had to say goodby?
Good days, bad days come and go,
memories, teardrops, mingle, flow.

May it never destroy the days and life you have yet to live. To remember the one you had and loved , your blessing from above. We must remember the were only a loan. He like you and I must answere to God. He gives, but like I once said the gift was only a loan.

How loving and dedicated to one so dear to have passed from this world to be at God's becon. Faith holds our silence, tears, desire to touch a final time until joined in heaven. Hearts are lifted without the question why answered. Friends hold one another up to make a path to each other with a smile, pat, hug reminders one will give hope for another tears to pass before God as he shares the blessings of his wine.
