Lost in thought
I can't stand it this time
everything about you Ive left behind

I can't pick up a pencil
I can't do what I love
I took all my portraits down
until I once again have love

Everything near to me
has seemed to be the betrayer
I cant hear my thoughts anymore
even though I think we did both agree
But still I dont think you will ever see.

This path that's in front of us
we chose to make it seperate
Like all I have has had to demodulate.
I never did fake it,
I think you never did either
but this feeling is like being hit
Even though you call it taking a breather

I don't care that you are saying you 'love me'
it doesnt seem to matter now that we're not together
but maybe this will make you see
see that everything else never mattered.

Now that we are apart
I can think of it all from the start
I say we had a good run
even though there's a tear in my heart

No one else can see
see that you were what mattered to me
I was confused a lot there at the end
and thats what made this choice for me.
