As I swim in the water it lurks beneath;
ardent eyes and dagger-like teeth.
It bit my arm so I slapped its face
then swam for my life but it gave chase.
I reached the sand but it didn't stop there,
the thing rose from the water with matted fur.
I sprinted forwards, as fast as a car,
but the crazy thing followed me into the bar!
My tired eyes rested on its wet, pink nose
then I looked at the barman and ordered two strongbows.

Hmm, I don't really understand the ending of this poem; not sure what a strongbow is xD
but, i liked the idea of it - especialyl the cat following you over the sand, i never thoguht to explore that it might have paws rather than fins
nice job and best of luck! -
