The weather vane changed direction
just as another drop of coffee fell
into the masses.
I almost imagined the Laughing Buddha
come to life and walk away;
[no more lights in the room]
A moth escapes
through the broken glass
in search of a brighter bulb.
Silence cries:
the vacant space feels so
empty
Author notes
This moment was inspired by the leaving of Maestro Azuma in the anime "La Corda D'Oro". I felt the intensified moment that they showed, and penned down my version of the feeling.

Huh....this is really good imagrey. Now that I've read it without any people calling my name. Work sometimes asks me to do stuff.
Great piece. Different.
