The cherry tree dies in winter
as the thoughts of unfilled dreams
but we expect fruit to blossom
as the new found tomorrow
between the dreams of cherry pie
is the wishful thoughts of happiness
patiently Mom divides the slices
hoping its the biggest
yes! I await the big piece
that dreams have in between
