A warm breeze wipes a tear that falls,
as I stand alone on this rivers shore.
Looking at the steps that lead only to
broken promises, fading memories, and
a love we once shared.

Poetic truth
How poetic the truth that it might be unbearable yet there is some sense of solice in knowing that the witness tree was, is and forever will be there for the new tidings of love that surely one day your heart will find.

Although somber and sad, these words are breathtaking and beautifully written. The picture is unnecessary because your words have the reader standing by a tranquil lake in tears. Excellent!
