abandoned, broken,
left for dead,
you came along and picked me up,
filled with a hope that I had always dismissed,
I lie here each night,
with you on my mind,
praying for you, and this love we have found,
I cherish you so much, you bring out my shine,
our treasures continually being discovered,
the journey lasting our lifetime

Some of this was a little too whimsy for me...But I must also keep in mind that we all look at things differently and perhaps this has a lot more sentimental value to you, so in that case, I wouldn't touch it. I could mention a few things critically, like the last bit is a bit too dramatic and slightly overstated, but I did very much love how you displayed truth here for the world to see. Glad to be back and find a post from you.
