I Wish

I watch the castles
Floating by my eyes
I see the perfectness
I wish I was a castle

I watch the clouds
Hovering above me
I see their carelessness
I wish I was a cloud

I watch the birds

Flying right beside me

I see their flying joy

I wish I was a bird

I see the people

Tiny as ants below me

I see their perfectness

I wish I was like them

    Interesting!

I could see this. Your write is fitting for the prompt & I can understand your perspective as a younger person viewing from on high & seeing the 'romantic' sights from afar off & having the experience of the 'prefect' view without the flaws of reality. Oh, if wishing could make something so. Fine job here my young poetess! Trust you'll do well in the contest!
Trust me dear one...you don't want to be like 'people ants' who appear perfect from an airborne perspective!

yes, i really do like this poem.
I can very much relate with wishing you were anything but yourself.
This is an awesome take on the prompt, you executed this poem so well, and the wistfulness really shines through, making it more real, thus, in this case, even more beautiful.
thanks for entering, and best of luck!
