Listen to what I hear

" Listen to what I hear”

In the wind I speak sunrise,

In the day I speak truths.

In the night on my journey to the land of spirit.

I weep for those who are lost.

When I hear the sound of horses hoof pounding on the hard ground.

I wait for it to come.

When The thunder roar.

I dance for the Mother Earth to feed off the rain.
When the rain come.

I wash my body clean in the rivers.

When I look up and see the sun.

I feel it kiss my lips.

When the wind blow cool air.

I know it is time to turn to the one I love.

Wrap the love blanket around our shoulder for warmth.

A night of passion with the one I love.

When my Spirit animals greet me at sunrise.

I go to the woods to mediate.

My life is complete as long as my spirits and       the great spirit father is with me.

We all walk together to fill the days with       knowledge.

Those who want to learn the way of life.

May your days be happy and carefree.

May your spirit run with the animals.

May you listen and hear the voice of many.

May it be the spirit or animals maybe just the little one playing in the field over looking the Camp.

" BE HAPPY "

FOR THAT IS THE WAY OF THE OLD ONE WHO LINGER EVEN TO THIS DAY"

    over punctuated

I very much love this poem and only have one suggestion- take it easy on the punctuation, especially when two lines are still one sentence. The poem will express the emotion much more and flow easier. But I do love it.

SO IN TOUCH WITH THE WORLD!!!

There are time I do feel much this way, just knowing in my heart that I am a part of the world around me. This is a feeling that is lost on society in this day and age, and it is one that should never be lost but kept close and cherished. 's
