From A Sparkle In Daddy's Eyes

Very small I was when I asked my mom,
I was curious where babies came from.
She smiled and told me that it was one night,
and she saw me in the sparkle in my daddies eyes.

Really I replied and pushed to get down,
and ran over to my Daddy and he lifted me off the ground.
I looked real hard and he smiled real big and wide,
and I turned and told my mama it's back in his eyes.

After a a bit I asked him when will my brother come,
and my Daddy smiled again and replied go play little one.
I ran back to mama and giggled a bit with such glee,
and Mama whispers lets keep it a secret between you and me.

Children such treasures I hope all parents holds dear for a home without laughter you wouldnt ever want to hear

    You SOOO better win gold for this write. It's amazing. When my 3 year old brother asked me that one morning over breakfast, I about spewed my scrambled eggs all over the table. My other brother started off by saying, "Micah, when a mommy and a daddy love each other veryyy much" i smaked him and just mumbled that the stork dropped them off.
