Not once did I ever let him see me cry
As the tears leaked continuously inside my eyes
Hurt me incessantly, I asked myself why
Yet I continued to go on I felt I must at least try
Failed relationships can devastate you the most
Even if he doesn’t stop to brag and boast
They’ll always know when they have won
Leaving you broken hearted at the injustice done
Time heals all wounds I’ve heard people say
Infection has set in, as pain continues to stay
Amputation of the heart seems the only way
To save my soul and live another day
Suffering indignations in my every day life
Is morally apprehensive and it’s just not right
I must love myself first, if need be stand and fight
For my future is in my hands, so I’ll hold on tight
A heart is a red hot pepper and love is a fire desired
Once extinguished your very essence can expire
So do you take the chance to never love again?
I say don’t fight the fire, share the God given love within

Hey I loved how it was deeply passionately in how you conveyed your message...I thought you did extreme justice to it all....Bravo and keep up the good work....I feel your pain as I read this poem.
